About AFSL Exchange.
A specialist intermediary for Australian Financial Services Licence transactions. Matching buyers and sellers of AFSL-licensed entities since 2017.
What we do
What we do.
AFSL Exchange facilitates the buying and selling of Australian Financial Services Licence-licensed entities. We work with sellers exiting the regulated financial services sector, buyers seeking Australian market entry through acquisition, and applicants requiring a new AFSL.
Our services include:
- Sell-side and buy-side intermediation for AFSL transactions
- New AFSL application management, from authorisation scoping through ASIC liaison to licence grant
- Responsible Manager sourcing for new applicants, post-sale continuity, and keyperson coverage
- Director sourcing for Australian-resident appointments
- Introductions to independent solicitors experienced in AFSL change-of-control transactions
How we work
How we work.
- Specialist intermediary, not a law firm.
- We facilitate transactions. We do not provide legal, tax, or compliance advice. Where advice is required, we introduce independent specialists with relevant experience.
- Confidential by default.
- We do not publicly list AFSL-licensed entities for sale. Every introduction is private, vetted, and protected by appropriate non-disclosure arrangements.
- Specialist focus.
- Our deepest experience is in FX, derivatives, and digital asset licensees. These categories account for the majority of transactions we facilitate, both for domestic operators and international firms seeking Australian market entry.
